VOLUNTEERS WANTED

Are you newly retired or have some time to spare?

Are you an enthusiast who would like to help the work of Vasculitis UK?

Due to the rapid success and growth of Vasculitis UK over the last 3 years, we are in serious need of more help from those who have certain skills (or think they can learn them) to join our team of enthusiastic volunteers.

The areas where we need the most support and help are :-

1) WEBSITE MAINTENANCE TEAM

We are looking for those with experience and skills in managing and editing web content, writing & setting out content, page layout, picture formatting etc for the website.

In addition to writing, editing, and proofreading site content, you will also be working within a team including the chairman and the Vasculitis UK site webmaster.

For those interested, but without the necessary IT skills, training can be made available.

This is the link to the VUK website vasculitis.org.uk

2) BULK EMAILING AND BULK MAILING TEAM

There is a Vasculitis UK e-newsletter which is published periodically. We also use bulk emailing for sending out urgent or special information to members. This involves a basic understanding of page layout and adding photos, links etc. Experience would be an advantage but training and support can be given.

3) NEWSLETTER AND PUBLISHING TEAM

Do you have desk top publishing skills and/or computer software experience? We need a newsletter editor/ assistant editor who can prepare text and pictures and design page layout for the Vasculitis UK Newsletter, Information Leaflets & Booklets and other items in readiness for printing?

If you have the skills or an interest in any of the above please contact John Mills . john.mills@vasculitis.org.uk or Telephone 01629650549
