Well I decided to go ahead with the increase from 2.25 to 2.5 grains following my latest blood test results (TSH 0.02, fT4 14 and fT3 4.6), with my endo's agreement (GP had wanted me to reduce based on TSH of course). I was a bit worried as I was having headaches and a little dizziness and did wonder whether I might be a bit over-medicated, but the good news is that I have taken the increased dose for 3 days now and I feel much better I usually feel worse following an increase and am hoping it won't be the case this time, as I was fine with my last increase from 2 to 2.25 at the beginning of January.
Thanks everyone for your advice Fingers crossed this might be the magic number...

Thanks RedApple Yes can't believe how long it all takes. Hope you are feeling well too xx
That's fab news Clare!
My endo saw my TSH was totally supressed last week, but with T4 and T3 in mid range he was happy to leave it be. Little did he know I wouldn't have lowered the dose anyway
I'm still on 2 grains and finally feel no need to increase it as getting my B12 and D optimal seemed to make the difference. I do need to increase my iron now.
Well done with it all. To be honest, if you keep an eye on your temps etc you should be able to tell if you then start to become overmedicated. The last few days I have started to feel a bit "off' and jaded and I am in fear that I am starting to become a bit undermedicated again.
Im starting to increase by small amounts again but as I'm on T3 only I feel a bit more worried as its more instant. Equally I can at least reduce it and have more of an instant effect again.
I dont think this awful weather helps does it. We need more when the weather is cold and grey and maybe we're both suffering the effects of that.
Good luck with your increase.
p.s. Im going to start arranging a support group for people in my area and I know you arrangej something in your area. Any tips about what I should do? Should we just chat and compare or do your provide info etc.
Re the support - We do usually just chat, but this doesn't work so well when we have a bigger group. We have had a couple of special sessions too - now when Paul Robinson came and gave a talk, and one when NaamiSue came and did some yoga with us. Good luck - I really enjoy our sessions xx
