I have been commenced on amitriptyline for vestibular migraine (query) waiting to see neurologist. I began on 10mg after one week increased to 25mg. After 2 weeks on the increased dose l had a tremor, cold and numbness , pins and needles in my feet . I have decreased to 12.5mg and now 10mgs. Does anyone know if the side effects of amitriptyline are worse if on eltroxin ? I currently am on 50mg and l was told l can't increase the dose whilst on amitriptyline. I am in my 60's and also have AF controlled with Flecanide and Apixiban. I was diagnosed in my 30's as hypothyroid ..recently changed from compounding dessicated thyroid extract to Levothyroxine.
