Bloods should be retested 6-8 weeks after each increase in Levo

Has GP tested vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

What vitamin supplements are you taking

Are you lactose or dairy intolerant?

Are you on gluten free diet

If not get coeliac blood test before trialing gluten free

Ideally avoid Teva brand of levothyroxine initially as is the most likely to upset people

She did test B12 ferritin and vitamin D? However I can’t see them on that list. I thought they might have had another name for them. I will have to ask for a printout of those. I’m not taking any supplements at the moment and I’m not on a gluten-free diet.. I have been tested before I don’t know the numbers I might ask to be tested for that again and as of tomorrow I am gluten free that was my plan anyway..

Only change one thing at a time

So get started and settled on Levo

Meanwhile

In say 3-4 months look at GF

Explore your options on what you would eat when gluten free BEFORE making the switch

no point trying it until you are ready with alternative options…..eg GF bread, pasta, etc

No point trying everything at once or you have no idea what is helping

In say 6 months also look at trying dairy free
