Active B12, iron and folate.

Hello could anyone recommend a reputable company for an active b12, homocysteine and MMA blood test please.Also Folate and iron profile.

My favourite testing companies (in order of preference) are:

Medichecks (best reports but more expensive look for offer codes)

Monitor my health (NHS lab harder to read results especially on a phone)

Randox (cheap but complicated email system to get report)

it looks like this will be costly; Homocysteine alone at Medichecks is £149, so is the MMA test.

Could you convince your GP to run these for you?

Mine is doing these in a few weeks as she freaked out when she found out how often I was injecting B12. I’ve had no Bs at all since end of January.

I’m just doing advanced thyroid (£72 with discount) before I go for NHS so I’ve got a steer, it’s only active not serum B12 but Medichecks say this is useful before testing further.
