And had a anti body test aswell that was to prove my thyroid was not working plus mother had overactive thyroid. Well nurse rung said knock off s 25 tablet I was you sure she oh written here ,that was two weeks ago now doctor txt me saying I see blood results I think you need to increase I have sent another 25 to I pharmacy do add to your 125 now take 150 book bloods test again in 4 months . Do they no what they are doing as had appointment at the doctors She said I see results and you are well medicated when I left I looked on line for results and was oh my 22 tsh. The last bloods I was 11 tsh no one said anything supposed to be under 4.5. I was once a long time ago 4 tsh I googled a chart and like I was in the red I told my husband thst had already had appointment and doctor seemed funny as mentioned slot of other symptoms ie ferritin serum 3 iug and Mcv 70 and been like this for years int you think should have test of be referred

we trust a doctor / nurse. But I don’t think they have enough information knowledge on every illness

My dad had muscular dystrophy and I remember going to doctors with mum and dad and they saying he has no clue and the doctor saying that he not no much and the specialist no more we did go to a lot of big hospitals in central London as I remember as a child .

Ask for a copy of results. You can contact receptionist and ask for a printed copy of results. A printed copy will include lab ranges.

is just TSH being tested? Or if FT4 tested too.

A TSH of 22 would be very high, you need a levo increase. A FT4 of 22 is high by most ranges.

Obtain exact results & we can advise accurately

Yes seen results they was printed on my online app by doctors write it in

No ft4 never do that the doctor only ask tsh. On the request he puts to nurse to do blood test and nurse rung me said reduced take away 25 which I said nit could right then she oh I don’t no it’s just written to tell you. Then two weeks ago now doc txt wrote increase 25. So now I am on 150. I was just having a moan that they don’t no what they are doing I looked at a chart in Google and 22 is in the red which I was sure anyway but double checked I have been 11 and 8. So gradually been going up but doc nut take a notice and I have not had the fight to keep trying to make opponents to say u am under active thyroid and you as go are supposed to add tablets levothyroxine till I get under 4:5. They have let it gradually creep up I am waiting for results of celiac disease.

Most feel best when TSH is nearer 1. So the FT4 is higher within range & FT3 conversion is good.

Nutrients are also important as poor level prevent good FT4 : FT3 conversion. You get high FT4 but low FT3 & hypo symptoms.

If celiac nutrients often low. Gluten intolerance won’t be detected on test. Test will show if you have gluten allergy.
