Hrt skin reaction

Started getting sore skin under my hrt patches over the summer, about 2 months after lowering T4 and adding in 5mcg T3 capsules . Coincidence? Hoped it would go away, it didnt, so meno nurse changed me to lenzetto spray on my forearms. After 2 days my arms had angry red, raised, dry, itchy as hell ezcema patches. I stopped immediately and was switched to the estradot mini patch, but again had the same reaction. So now I'm on estrogel on my thighs, which is absolutely fine, no reaction. But my arms are still sore. I had a potent steroid for 4 weeks which got rid of half the patches. But the ones that remain some 8 weeks on are bigger but less itchy. I do seems to get flare ups every few days, new small raised bumps that seem to go within a few hours.

The Meno nurse assumed I had a reaction to an ingredient in in the patches / spray and that my skin is extra sensitive. But I read on the patient leaflet this could be a t3 reaction. Any thoughts?

I would say that it's just a coincidence. It's common for ladies to have skin issues with patches due to the glue and have to change to gel.

It's common? That's good, I hope so. Just wondering why it's still flaring up on my arms when I'm not using the spray any more.
