Rifaximin without prescription.

I'm gearing up for another battle with my GP to request a referral to Gastroenterology for suspected methane dominant SIBO this week. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos 20 years ago and have had worsening gastro issues for as long as I can remember.I've recently made significant dietary changes under the direction of a Dietician (for eg removing gluten for 6 months, elimination of dairy, low FODMAP and using vsl#3 probiotic supplements)

As a result of the changes I've made my stomach issues have worsened and I have had to stop using the probiotics due to severe stomach pain and bloating.

The Dietician has recommended that I request a referral to a Gastroenterologist for Rifaximin antibiotic treatment however I fully expect my GP to refuse.

Has anyone been able to purchase Rifaximin without a prescription? I really don't want to have to pay to see a private Gastroenterologist as I've recently paid for a private Endocrinologist and I'm currently paying for my T3 medication.
