I've been given a T3 prescription from a private consultant. But it is really expensive and I still have T3 I got from abroad.
I'm still keen to be followed up by the private endo as I hope eventually they will be able to convince my GP to prescribe the T3, but I wonder if there is a way for them to know I'm using my stash of T3 rather than the expensive UK one? (as the endo would not entertain treating me with it)
So, are they informed when the private prescriptions they issued have been filled?
Thanks!

I suggest you look at terms and conditions of some online pharmacies. Sending information to the prescriber might be expressly mentioned. If it isn't, I suspect that data protection means they would not be allowed to. (Obviously, they might need to do things like double-check the prescription if there are any questions.)
Thank you! I've had a look at a couple and all they say is they abide by GDPR and NHS confidentiality, but no detail on how the prescriptions are processed.
