It isn't clear what you are saying - it would be unusual for t4 t3 and tsh ALL to be lower in tests.
Should I change the entry in my blog?
Sorry my TSH is higher .
You might need to increase your dose if the batch is weaker. I took 1 1/2 grains of Thyroid S and it suited me but mine was an old batch
I’m getting hyper symptoms so too afraid to increase my dose
Hyper and Hypo can be very similar I know because I have been both. You could try either decreasing or increasing by a quarter of a grain. Do you have a pill cutter?
pennyannie might be able to advise you better than me. I always dosed by how I felt. The T3 in NDT leaves your system fairly quickly btw
Definitely hyper symptoms, racing heart, sweating, loose bowel, frequent urination, shakiness, insomnia , nausea. I am of the mind to cut a quarter off the pill just so I can calm everything down for now until I can decide how to proceed. I cannot function properly atm.
I started to feel unwell a few days in from starting this batch, insomnia, shakiness , nausea etc. I’ve been taking this med since 2019 without any issues. My last batch number started with 22 but I can’t see the rest of the numbers .
Does not sound good. Please do NOT post where you got this from, but are you confident it is the real thing? Same source(s) as previously?
Yes always exactly the same source. I’ve taken 1 60mg tablet which has kept my numbers stable for years. I don’t know whether to order more and hope it was an iffy batch or go back to Levo. I’ve been through all this pre 2019 with Armour and Erfa and really thought I wouldn’t be in this situation again.
It could be just a quarter reduction that you need. I was taking 2.5 grains for about 4 years and then had to reduce as FT3 being quite high over range on a different batch. Then
for over 4 years on 2.25 grains to feel perfect. The batches do very slightly sometimes.
The symptoms can be similar but yours sound over not under.
Hello Genee
I don't think we have much information yet on prefixed ' 24 ' batches -
The most issues we had were with prefixed ' 22 ' batches - and hoped this issue over -
if you have tried going up and down a 1/4 grain but not aware of any improvement suggest you try and source a different batch number -
I understand there is a ' yellow card ' system in place in Thailand - similar to that we have in the UK - but when I've questioned my supplier on same - I'm told there is no report of Thyroid S - being reported - not that I expected a different answer anyway -
I'm sorry - and know I'm stating the obvious - but maybe buy again and state you do not want said batch number ?
