I had b12 blood test today at GP to check how much levels had risen since taking sublingual b12. (Since 14/11) Would it be useful to also do an active b12 test today or would the sublingual tablets skew the results. I have one here ready to use. Thanks

Good idea or not to do active b12 test?

Did you have an Active B12 test from before starting the sublingual B12?
If not, it is difficult to see what advantage there would be, right now, doing a test.
However, if you intend to be in control, and to keep doing your own tests, then it would be good to see both serum and Active tests from, effectively, the same time.
No I haven't as I'm still trying to get levels up. I'm thinking it might be useful to have serum and active B12 info from same day
Thanks - I take Thorne simple B complex as well. I feel that I'm rattling with all the pills I take. I've written a schedule at the moment as I'm also taking antibiotics which have strict timings around food, plus the 4 hours away from thyroidmeds.
I ordered Thornes basic B complex (glad I got the right one!!) from BigVits and it was a surprisingly speedy delivery. I take soya isoflavones for osteoporosis so I leave 4 hours gap between them and thyroid meds. I thought it was an hour between food and thyroid meds.
my pill taking rhythm is out of sorts due to the antibios....
