T3 Trial

My wife is having a blood test Monday and has stopped taking Vit B Supplements containing biotin. By the time the blood is taken she will have been off the Supplements for a week. She is taking Sublingual B12 and folate instead of the Supplements.

Main question is that she usually takes her T3 and Levo early am. Normally she doesn't take T4 24 hours before any tests. Is it OK to leave the T3 for the same time?

no

day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last dose approximately 8-12 hours before test

That might be difficult Roseway have provided Helen with a supply of 100 capsules of 2.5 mcg which run out before Christmas which can't be split! When should she take her last T3?

What about the dose she would take normally first thing Sunday, is it necessary to still take it or not? ie Miss the morning dose completely which would leave a gap of about 39 hours?

Some people take their T3 with food anyway. It's not the same as taking Levo.

Yes, it's recommended to leave both T4 and T3 for 24 hours thebleast amount of time for t3 to be stopped before blood test is 12 hours. But it may still show slightly higher than the maintenence level. So maybe told to reduce dose. So 24 hours is favourable . :)
