Do you have other blood results you can share? Vitamin levels B12, folate, vitamin D, ferritin and their ranges?
It's usually recommended to start with Levothyroxine as it's more easily available and GP's can prescribe. But as you point out your FT3 level is low and you may need to get T3 prescribed but I'll let other experienced members comment on that. You'll need to get your GP to refer you to an endo that will prescribe T3 or go private.
At first glance it appears you are a rather poor converter so might be a candidate for T3 rather than T4 or combination meds but having other test results would be useful.
Yes the blood was taken at 10am and I am not taking any NDT at the moment. I don't have a recent D3 but as I am supplementing D4 @ 4000 last time I tested I was at the high end of the range. My GP recently took B12, iron and feritin which I was told was all fine, I should probably get the exact figures off them as I realise there ok might not be great. I suppose my choice would be either thyroid-s or try T3 on its own. Thanks for your replies, they are much appreciated.
