Hi all, these are my latest thyroid test results done following protocol. They wouldn't test anything else even though i said i supplement.

I'm currently on 112.5mcg daily, (although my dr thought i was on 125mcg) my dr has said i'm overmedicated and reduced my dose to 100mcg a day.

Can someone let me know if this is right please.

TSH 0.01 mU/L 0.30-4.20

FT4 22.3 pmol/L 9.0-19.0

FT3 5.2 pmol/L 3-5.4

So this thyroid test done early morning, ideally before 9am, only drinking water between waking and test and last dose Levo 24 hours before test

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription

You do look very slightly over treated

can you get vitamin levels tested privately

Exactly what vitamin supplements are you taking

What were vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin

Hello SlowDragon, yes the test was done at 8.50am fasted only water and last dose 24 hours before, I always get accord.

Daily i'm taking vitamin B complex, Three arrows iron, vitamin C, magnesium glycinate and b12 spray once a week.

Do you think it'll be ok to reduce to 100mcg?

Did you stop B complex 5-7 days before test?

You need to do full iron panel test 3-4 times a year if self supplementing iron

Test early morning, only water to drink between waking and test. Avoid high iron rich dinner night before test

If taking any iron supplements stop 5-7 days before testing

Medichecks iron panel test

Yes I stopped the b complex and iron 7 days before the test as I thought I was getting everything retested from February

I think decreasing to 100mcg daily would be best.Even though your GP thought you were on 125mcg daily a 25mcg drop could be too much and you might miss your sweet spot.Best to tweak in small increments.I’d try the 100mcg daily and retest in 6-8 weeks.
