could I have some advice please on my thyroid blood tests -
Serum TSH level 4.73 (0.38-5.33)
Serum free T4 10.7 (8.00-18.00)
serum free T3 3.9 (3.80-6.00)
I have j have been alternating with 150 & 125
I had not eaten or drank on morning of blood test & not taken any thyroid meds for 24 hours.
I am 39 for my folate and the bottom range is 38 & doctors say all is normal , but I am symptomatic

Poor thing, I bet you don't feel too good.
FT4: 10.7 pmol/l (Range 8 - 18) 27.00%
FT3: 3.9 pmol/l (Range 3.8 - 6) 4.55%
Try a L - methyl folate supplement (rather than folic acid) , I use Health Leads 400ug daily. Most B Complex have 400ug too.
You are still low in range for both FT4 and FT3
Sorry to hear you are symptomatic, do you take anything else at the same time (or within an hour) of your Levo?
What brand Levo are you taking?

Hi christinamaria, those results show you could do with a dose increase to 150mcg/day
GP's ought to be aiming to keep TSH below 2 in all patients on levo .
