Thank you for all the help you have given me re my not life threatening but life misery condition - am getting things moving but in the meantime if you see an old lass passing doing a St. Vitus dance - that is me, cup of tea appreciated.

Just knowing there are people who understand what this illness is like out there has helped me so much. Things like "I am so tired" do not mean you could do with a little nap, it means someone has taken your batteries out and you can hardly lift an eyelid. Knowing that it is not just my GP who is dismissive and ignorant, and you go home and cry, but others do to. Not feeling alone and abandoned, the help and support here have literally been life changing.
So islandlass , lets keep battling away and I will join you in a cup of tea. Cheers!
