low or high stomach acid?

I have been suffering with heat in my chest and a cough and have started lansoprzole which has helped but not much. Prior to this, a lot of stress with antibiotics and antifungal medication for infections.

Could I have low stomach acid instead? I am testing my thyroid privately and vitamins to see if these are okay. I am also thinking of t3 again to add to my t4 but have been trying different methods before this option with helpful suggestions on here (ndt also).

I am grateful for any help and advice.

Thank you

Antibiotics always affect my gut microbiome, try some gut friendly supplements and foods. I've been on Omeprazole 20 to 30 mgs for more years than I can remember and still get through a box of sugar free Rennies a week. Some people do say it's a lack of stomach acid, but I can't tolerate any citrus fruit or tomatoes and last year had to give up my beloved apples.

T3 is the business, I cannot sing it's praises enough.
