Hi

These are my latest blood results and am thinking I need to decrease my Levo dose. I am taking 125/100 alternate days, My last blood results indicated that I needed to decrease my T3, from 15 to 10 which I have done, but now my T4 has gone up. Could anyone advise what my next step is. I’m not feeling great at all, extremely lethargic and can’t get myself going at all. Medichecks have also advised me to see Gp, as my CRP is elevated. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Do you have Hashi's?

No I don’t think so. Had partial thyroidectomy 25 years ago

You could still be suffering from Hashi's in the bit that's left. Might be worth getting antibodies checked.

OK, so it doesn't look like you do have Hashi's. Your FT4 probably rose because you reduced your T3.

That’s what I thought must have happened, cant get my head around, how this all works yet! 🫢. Would you suggest reducing my thyroxine then ?

Oh yes, it's much too high. Reducing it might improve your conversion a little.

Worth dropping back to 100mcg a day... too much is as bad as too little

In your last post your ferritin was low did you get a full iron panel done?

Yes I did. I am now taking Three arrows, looks to be moving up
