A message for Admin

Hello Admin. I posted recently and received a message from a scammer on here. You closed the chat thread so I can no longer see it. I was seeking advice on NDT availability. In short, I was contacted by a “member” who directed me to a SCAM website called [site name edited by admin]. I lost over £150 to these scammers based in the USA and Montenegro (EU). I realise now exactly how they perpetrate the scam and also how silly I was to fall for it, but that loss is compounded by my anger at the way the UK health system fails people like me who do not do at all well on Levothyroxine, leaving us open to fraud such as this. ( I have been unable to find a doctor/e do to prescribe NDT). Just a word to the wise. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Sorry to hear about your experience that’s awful.

Have you tried Roseway Labs in London. 100% legit and legal. You have a call with the pharmacist prescriber, fill in forms, send blood test results and get a private prescription. Would be worth calling them to see what they can do for you.

totally agree on health system, write to your MP it’s the only real direct action we have as patients.

I use Roseway for my LDN have done so for about 18months. They are a fully legitimate compounding pharmacy based in London. I'm really sorry about your experience, will you be able to get your money back ok?

I know we always advise members considering self sourcing to check on the forum members credentials by clicking on their name to check posting history and double check with admin before parting with any money. These people are below contempt. Especially when they know we have many poorly, desperate to be well again members.

Hi JadisFox,

I think you need to contact the admin directly with the member's/scammer's name. Then they will block them. Don't accidentally name them on the open forum.

There is a pinned post warning of the possibility of scammers that join the site very regularly.

I believe it's best to contact admin after any contact from another member offering NDT or T3 to check if they are genuine or not. Also it will help so that others don't get scammed like you did.

Thank you for tagging for me. I cannot name the scammer as Admin closed the thread and I cannot see it any more. I am still reeling from another diagnosis, so not very "with it" at the moment, sorry 😞

Once you have what you think may be a genuine recommendation, you are strongly encouraged to message an Admin to ask whether the admin team have any feedback on the source you've been given.
