Admins are here to, umm, administer the forum. We have no special knowledge or training. :-)

If you'll accept a reply from a humble non-admin... A lesser creature, I know, but still capable of having some knowledge. :)

It's perfectly normal for your FT4 to drop when you start T3. The drop in your FT3 is insignificant. You can take levo with NDT, but why would you want to? Can't say if you should increase your NDT, because you don't give any ranges.

Hopefully people don't rely on admin answers alone!

By the time I have caught up on true admin duties, had a general read around, and responded to outstanding threads where people have responded to me, I don't have enough time to actually answer many posts! I tend to dive in on those which in some way seem appropriate for me to reply on, and leave those where I know full well others can answer much better than I.

A grey goose is a magnificent creature! Definitely not "lesser".

Ranges

FT4. 12 - 22. pmo/

T3. 3.10 - 6,80 pmo

TSH. 0,27 - 4,20 miu

T4. 59,0 - 154 nmo

OK, so your FT4 is right at the bottom of the range, now, but it doesn't matter.

The TT4 is a totally useless test, tells you nothing of importance. And the TSH is irrelevant once you're on thyroid hormone replacement - unless it goes high. But you didn't tell us what your TSH was, anyway.

Your FT3 is quite good. So, it depends how you feel. If you still feel hypo, increase the dose, there's plenty of room for an increase. Don't worry about it having dropped a couple of decimal points, the FT3 varies throughout the day.

But, you do have high antibodies. Did they only test the TgAB, not the Thyroperoxidase antibodies?

In that case, go by how you feel. But, remember, you do have Hashi's, so things might get worse. Keep a close eye on your numbers. :)
