Happy Easter. Its me again, Im not sure if im over medicated or under? Tried splitting doses took levothyroxine at 4am, then t3 7am. But ive not been feeling right. Lost heartbeats again a little heart pounding today and headache. So feeling worse today? The morning dose seems to affect me the most.

Bp at present is 103/56 pulse 75.

Also worrind with hip op replacement coming up on 20th april and scared they wont do if things are out of wack. Should i go back to 10mcg of T3 until after op?

I really do not know what to do for the best 😔

You need to post blood results with ranges.

High / low BP can be caused by overmedication or undermedication

Hi Maggie,I have been on a trial of T3 thybon henning for seven weeks 5mcg twice daily 7am and 3pm. Plus 75mcg of T4 Accord at 7am.Ive been doing ok but still struggling with sleep, constipation and lack of energy. Bloods taken as advised by private endo morning before taking your meds which was 24 hours after T4 and 16 hour after T3.

TSH 0. 65 (0.37-4.2)

T4 16.9 (12-22)

T3 3.6 (3.1-6,8)

Vit D 130 (50-125)

B12 1224 (197-771)

No ferritin was advised.

So my T3 has stayed the same, T4 went down as was over range. Tsh down a little.

I started getting missed heartbeats just days before ny Private endo appointment on Wednesday he suggested trying T3 5mcg three times a day but symptoms are getting worse so i dont know if my body doesnt like the extra 5mcg or is this is whats meant to happen?

Hi Soaping

If you’ve left 16 hrs between T3 and test, that’s too long and you’ve got a ‘false low’. Your FT3 will be a bit higher than that.

If you’re getting symptoms early morning that suggests it’s the T3. The fact that you feel worse now that you’re taking 5 mcg T3 three times a day would support that.

T3 is supposed to make you feel better so if you’re more symptomatic there’s a problem either with the dose or the way you’re taking it.

It’s going to be a slow process to unravel this. Perhaps you could begin by reducing your morning dose of 5 mcg T3 to 2.5 mcg

Thank you for you reply. The Endo told me to just not take morning meds before blood draw?I didn't take my 12.30 T3. Ive taken it at 3pm so only had 7am and 3pm but im getting the same symptoms again I dont think ill take anymore today? As something not good is happening?

I know everybody is different but I personally found Thybon Henning liothyronine to be very weak, and I also had issues with Accord levothyroxine not working as well as other forms of levothyroxine. In fact, for me, the excipients in Accord led to a horrible feeling of swelling in my throat. It really is trial and error with different forms of both drugs until you find the ones that suit you.
