Can anyone add any advice please. I have been on a trial of T3 thybon henning for seven weeks 5mcg twice daily 7am and 3pm. Plus 75mcg of T4 Accord at 7am.Ive been doing ok but still struggling with sleep, constipation and lack of energy. Bloods taken as advised by private endo morning before taking your meds which was 24 hours after T4 and 16 hour after T3.

TSH 65 (0.37-4.2)

T4 16.9 (12-22)

T3 3.6 (3.1-6,8)

Vit D 130 (50-125)

B12 1224 (197-771)

No ferritin was advised.

I started getting missed heartbeats. Private endo suggested trying T3 5mcg three times a day. Which i have just started doing but after a few hours i am still getting missing heartbeats so im not sure if this is ok or not. My endo said if i also get out of breath to contact him?

The last two days I have slept better though?

Thank you for any advice and Happy Easter to you all.

Is your TSH really 65 on 75mcgs Levo +10mcg T3? I think you're missing a decimal place somewhere!

The timing of your Levo at 24hrs was good so your FT4 is accurate and at 49% of range. Most people need both FT4 & FT3 at around 70% so you would benefit from increasing your Levo.

16 hours spacing for T3 is too long so your FT3 result is a false low. To measure FT3 your last dose of R3 should be taken 8-12 hours before blood test. It has quite a short half life.

B12 & D3 look good.

Can you get ferritin & folate tested?

just a thought……did the endo ask you to reduce levo by 25mcg? I did that as instructed, but soon found that I needed to increase levo again too. Although your FT3 is rather low (it’s suggested on here you leave last dose 10-12 hrs before blood test). I’d be tempted to ask for a tad more T3, then maybe increase levo at some point if bloods and symptoms still not great.

We are all different, so I could be talking rubbish for you 🙂

fair enough. Your FT3 must have been even lower before adding some T3.

I hope it sorts for you soon 🐣

My FT4 drops a bit when I add T3 too.

Maybe this is normal?

Happy Easter. Its me again, Im not sure if im over medicated or under? Tried splitting doses took levothyroxine at 4am, then t3 7am. But ive not been feeling right. Lost heartbeats again a little heart pounding today and headache. So feeling worse today? The morning dose seems to affect me the most.

Bp at present is 103/56 pulse 75.

Also worrind with hip op replacement coming up on 20th april and scared they wont do if things are out of wack. Should i go back to 10mcg of T3 until after op?

I really do not know what to do for the best 😔
