I’m currently taking levothyroxine but I still have hypo symptoms (tiredness, feeling cold, dry skin, etc.). My most recent test results show that everything is in the correct range, but my T4 is at the high end of the normal range while my T3 is in the bottom third, so I’d like to trial a medication involving T3 (i.e., T3 while reducing levothyroxine, or replacing levo with NDT).
FT4: 21 pmol/l (normal range 12 - 22)
FT3: 4.1 pmol/L (normal range 3.1 - 6.8)
TSH: 0.80 mU/L (normal range 0.27 - 4.2)
I was wondering if anyone who has bought T3 from a non-prescription source that delivers to the UK could private message me with their recommendation/link to a website?
I had several biochemical tests, including vitamin levels (including vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, and ferritin), checked recently, and they were all good.
Thanks

was this test early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
how much levothyroxine are you taking
Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription
Please can you write new post with actual vitamin results and ranges
Also is your hypothyroidism autoimmune
About 90% of primary hypothyroidism is autoimmune thyroid disease, usually diagnosed by high TPO and/or high TG thyroid antibodies
Autoimmune thyroid disease with goitre is Hashimoto’s
Autoimmune thyroid disease without goitre is Ord’s thyroiditis.
Both are autoimmune and generally called Hashimoto’s.
Significant minority of Hashimoto’s patients only have high TG antibodies (thyroglobulin)
Here’s link for how to request Thyroid U.K.list of private Doctors emailed to you, but within the email a link to download list of recommended thyroid specialist endocrinologists who will prescribe T3 or NDT
Ideally choose an endocrinologist to see privately initially and who also does NHS consultations
