Is it ok to take T3 first thing in the morning at the same time as other meds. I take statins and BP meds in the morning and my Levo at night. Or should I just take it at night with my Levo.

When to take my T3
No T3 should be taken on its own …..ideally waking, on empty stomach and waiting at least 30-45mins before anything other than water
You could take BP meds after breakfast
You will quite likely see cholesterol levels drop significantly on T3
You may be able to stop statins
Meanwhile move to taking statins instead early evening - which is generally what GP will recommend anyway

High cholesterol linked to low Ft3

If you have an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), treatment may be delayed until this problem is treated. This is because having an underactive thyroid can lead to an increased cholesterol level, and treating hypothyroidism may cause your cholesterol level to decrease, without the need for statins. Statins are also more likely to cause muscle damage in people with an underactive thyroid.
That would be excellent news if I get a reduced cholesterol and can stop the statins. I have the following to fit in :
Rosuvastatin. Amlodipine. Currently take first thing. 5.30am
Vitamin D & magnesium 7.30am
Levothyroxine night time
Will 7.30am with the vitamins be ok?
No ….T3 on its own ……not with anything else
You could experiment with taking T3 at 5.30am …..often gives excellent sleep
Move statin to late afternoon
More BP tablet to breakfast
Is vitamin D mouth spray or tablet?
Vitamin D mouth spray absorbs in mouth so can be after breakfast
If tablets, best with meal that has highest fat content….usually evening meal
Magnesium best taken afternoon or bedtime too as is calming and relaxing often helps with sleep
