Should I used iodised salt? (on gluten free diet/hypothyroid/levothyroxine)

I note that ordinary Table/Cooking Salt is not iodised.

No, you don't need iodine. Your levothyroxine already contains it

The answer is to use Real Salt available on Amazon or certain markets which are highly aware of healthy eating. Real Salt has all of the minerals and iodides that our ancestors were used to eating. Read up on the benefits of supplementing with Iodine. There are many good articles which are pro Iodine. Paul Robinson is a great source for all things Thyroid.

There are many articles on the perils of supplementing with iodine.

It is not a simple subject and it is inappropriate to imply that there are only benefits.
