Salt & sugar

Hi, I consider sugar and salt to be drugs. Unlike other drugs like cocaine, heroin, amphetamine, etc. salt and sugar are slow and insidious. Salt does give you a noticeable temporary high by stimulating the adrenal glands -- just watch the idiots act up at a salt-laddened sports event or observe children get hyper on sugar. Anyway, if you are consuming salt or sugar at all, period, don't expect optimum results from any doctoring or self-doctoring.

That's rather an extreme view. Do you have an scientific evidence to back it up? Or are you just looking for conflict?

Absolutely agree! And, I don't believe sugar is the demon it's made out to be, either. All things in moderation, I say!

And, although I avoid it, sugar was shown by a researching professor to be good for old people's bones.
