Could I ask for vitamin d advice please?

hi, my vitamin d levels are 61nmol and I wonder if somebody could please offer advise in how much to take?

I’ve been in the deficient range before and took 2000iu a day, Drs Best. After a while I started experiencing headaches, feeling sick and thirsty, retested and found levels were better,n so stopped taking and after couple weeks symptoms improved.

I’ve been experiencing a lot of fatigue, muscle aches, etc and thought Id better do general tests and check & improve vid d levels firstly, before Winter.

Many thanks…

2000 a day sounds about right to me, that keeps me at a good level. Could you try a different brand perhaps? It moght be the fillers rather than the vitamin D causing you a problem.

thanks very much…I chose this brand last time as its only got extra virgin olive oil and the gelatin shell, so guess I won’t get much better than that, filler wise, Will give it a whirl again and see what happens I think. Once I get the level up, guess I can adjust from there….do you take k2 too? I did last time, but can’t remember which one now. Hopefully I’ve written it down somewhere!😀Thanks again

It doesn't sound like the fillers would be a problem then. I have started taking vitamin k2 recently, the better you oral spray, I don't know if it's having much effect yet.

when I looked into their sprays before think they contained apricot, which I can have, but they seem an easy way of supplementing. Do u think the k2 woukd show if it’s working, I thought it just helps behind the scenes, to stop something happening with our bones and calcium? I’m a bit rusty on vit d knowledge!

No probably not. Yes, the K2 is to fix the calcium to our bones instead of floating around furring up our arteries.
