I just found out that nucleotides (which were added to MV/AV) in 2020 contain purine, known to cause gout. Even if each capsule contains only small amounts of nucleotides, it can add up if you take it daily. Is it really a good idea to take something with nucleotides when you have autoimmune thyroid disease?

Has anyone noticed signs of inflammation on Metavive/Adrenavive?
Good question. Hope someone comes along with an answer.
I know there have been discussions here about reformulated Metavive before, but I have not seen any posts about actual signs of inflammation. I read that common triggers of gout are fructose and purines, hence my question.
Purine occurs naturally in many foods. I doubt the tiny amount in this supplement is anything to be concerned about at all. But if you are worried, you could just make sure to limit the amount of high purine foods you consume on a daily basis. Plenty of info out there about purine content of foods, but here's one link patient.info/news-and-featu...
Is putting on weight a sign of inflammation? Metavive was fine for me until they changed the formula unexpectedly. I then had upset stomach, flushes etc and my weight started going up.
From what I´ve read, inflammation raises cortisol which is known to cause weight gain. Cortisol also increases blood sugar levels which in turn increases insulin production, and insulin causes the body to store more fat, especially in the belly area.
