Hello,

Does anyone still take either or both Metavive or Adrenavive since the nucleotides were added and ok/positive still? Or is all hope lost with this?

Thanks

Yes, I do and am doing okay on both.

I was taking Adrenavive before the addition of neucleotides and have found no difference since the addition.

I recently added Metavive and have no complaints.

Although there are others who aren't doing so well on them.

Hi Mischa Maui ask you how much adrenavive do you take per day?

I’m taking one adrenavive III upon waking

One adrenavive II at noon

And one at 3pm

With no improvement after a week...

I don’t know if I should increase

I don’t know the differences in the products you’re using but it definitely is go slowly and add one extra each week type of thing. Stop the thyroid madness book and website have stated dosing of around 3,2,1,1 in a day but this is also dependent on sex and size (a large male needs more than a small female). I can’t seem to find the link easily but you may well be able to find it yourself. I assume you have done adrenal saliva test and confirms low cortisol? Look into Paul Robinson as well with his CT3M method which uses thyroid hormone (NDT or T3) to increase cortisol without use of adrenals.

Thanks a lot dear Yes I did a saliva test

And thank you for reminding me of the STTM adrenal procedure. I should try to find equivalence between Thorne adrenal cortex ( the one they recommend. I kno it contains 50mg per pill. and adrenavive wich doesn state clearly the amount of cortex in each pill)

one last question : do you know if it’s ok to be taken with food? Adrenal Cortex?

Hendb

The Adrenavive III contains 250mg of cortex and the Adrenavive II contains 125mg of cortex the rest is neucleotides.

Thorne would be expensive when you are taking a larger amount of cortex.

There is another adrenal cortex which contains 250mg of cortex and there are 120 capsules in a tub for £34.99 from Your Health Basket.

Yes you can take them with food - I sometimes do.

I hope that helps.

Yes it helps a lot

I wasn’t aware adrenavive contained as much adrenal cortex.

Well it make me realise the at I’ve been doing the STTM protocol more or less

1 adrenavive 3 upon waking

1 adrenavive 2 two hours later and so on

But no improvements whatsoever.

Now I have to measure my DATS.

I wonder if we can increase more.

Is there a limit?

I have my periods though. And if I remember correctly DATS are not relevant during our periods. Right?

I didn ask you how you were feeling with this protocol? Are you also taking metavive?

I am..

1 metavive pro... started 10 days ago...

Still nothing happening

I will give it 4 weeks on this dosage

I take two Metavive II per day. I didn't know that neucleotides had been added, why or what this means, but have not noticed any difference.

Should mention though that I also have PA so symptoms often overlap.

I do know though that, since self injecting hydroxocobalamin, I don't appear to need as much thyroid medication..........

Thank you both.

I haven't noticed any difference in the way I feel but my recent blood tests had my T4 high and my T3 over the range so I have reduced my dose. This may also be coincidence with some dietary changes I have made.

Metavive same after nucleotides added as before for me but does seem to be a bit 'marmite '

Nope. I started taking adrenavive earlier this year and found it gave me terrible thyroid pain and some swelling, similar to what I experience when I have an autoimmune flair up. As soon as I stopped, the pain started to go. I now take a different brand of adrenal glandular without nucleotides and haven’t experienced any pain or swelling.

I’m moving off it. Not just because of the nucleotides but I think glandulars don’t suit me.

I take 2 Metavive II every day(since 2017) and not noticed any change but would prefer not to have the nucleotides as the less additives the better. As it works fine for me I am continuing with it for the moment, dont really want to have to try out others.
