The August 2023 NHS Drug Tariff has been published and my blog has been updated. The tariff price for Liothyronine 5microgram tablets has increased to 12250 (from 12050).

Thanks Helvella. Think I will need to have a good read as I'm new to NHS tariffs.I just wanted to check they are not limiting NDT products further. You were not restricted a few years ago but now you are. Only a choice of two. Left me worrying they are trying to phase them out on their pharmaceutical list..
Wow that's so interesting Helvella. I only knew about the restriction on the NDT choices because my pharmacist told me. At the time I was on NP Thyroid and had to change. Wasn't super happy but this time round Armour worked. (It did panic me!) I think maybe because since last trying it I am GF and on B12 jabs etc so maybe I process it much better than last time around. Who knows though...!!
If you follow the link, it explains what the prices mean, and the categories.
I had a choice of typing exactly what it says on the Tariff, 12250, or "translating" it into £122.50. I thought it made more sense to copy exactly. Otherwise you might be looking for "£122.50" and wondering that isn't in the Tariff.
