Weird vertigo or dizziness?

Hey all,

I have been on 2.25 Armour and 2.5 T3 for the past 5 months.

My recent test was showing FT4 38%, FT3 61%, testing 24 hours after taking meds at once in the morning.

I had improvements- I was able to work out more, lost a bit of weight, I sleep much better.

In the last month I started to notice that sometimes my vision will get blurry and get really dizzy especially when looking at shelves in the shop, being outside is a little better, although it happened to me on the street too. I start to feel dehydrated then too and have a racing mind. Once I get home and rest, it goes away largely.

Have you had anything like this?

My doctor wants me on more t3 than Armour.

Armour on it's own doesn't suit me, tried it for a year now, also tried it with t4.

Testing 24 hours after T3 dose is too long a gap and can give a "false low" result.

Test again closer to 12 hours after your Armour and T3 doses, close to 9am and at least an hour away from food and drinks .....before you alter dose.

I'm T3-only and experienced similar symptoms when undermedicated.

It sounds as if your GP is on the right track

Hey DippyDame,

Thank you, I don't split my dose, could I test 12 hours after my dose, let's stay at 5 or 6 pm, would this work? I know the t3 in Armour lingers for longer in blood than synthetic, so I think my results can be confusing anyway

Why not just follow the testing protocol advised by TUK

Signs and symptoms are extremely important wnen dosing with T3....

On high dose T3-only I no longer test.
