how can this be satisfactory?

I currently take 150/125 mg thyroxine (always mercury pharmacy) annual GP check results attached - annotated ‘satisfactory no action required’ 🤷‍♀️

Crazy capers…. Pharmacy are supposed to be calling me on other matters so will discuss. Of course if I’d been below the reference range for TSH they’d have likely confiscated meds! It just doesn’t fill you with confidence and I’ve had this for approaching 20 years

Obviously your results show under medicated (or poor absorption)

What are most recent folate, ferritin, vitamin D and B12 results

Looking at previous post on PAS unlocked …..are you now on B12 injections

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Presumably you have Hashimoto’s?

Are you on strictly gluten free and/or dairy free diet

I guess the GP did not read the results properly. They usually have a ! or are in red, so he probably glanced at them. If the chemist does not help, go back to him and show him the results and make him squirm!

Its crazy that if your labs are above range you don’t here a peep out of the doctors but if your TSH falls they want your meds…. Can’t make this stuff up!
