me again! You’re all such a lovely and knowledgeable lot! After my last post I’m still not sure what to do about my low iron. It showed up in my last blood test with my GP and he prescribed Ferrous Fumerate 210 mg but I felt so ill on them. Nausea and diarreah! Any suggestions please? I know I’m 79 and that’s what my GP would say but I really would like to have more energy than I have right now. And enjoy my remaining years! I have never felt so tired in my life.

any information on iron infusions?
No - sorry. As they are given by professionals there isn't much interest or scope for choice.
This link takes you to a list of Patient Information Leaflets for iron infusion products. The search mechanism is crude so after a few relevant products it goes off onto other products.
thank you for this Hellvella. What an amazing piece of work. At the moment I’m trying to decide which Flora supplement to try. One is Flora Iron (I think) and one is Ferretin (plant based) and whether liquid is better than tablets. It’s a mine field isn’t it?!
