Help with results please

I have been on T4 and T3 for several years now. 88mcg levo/18mcg Cynomel. Results on this dose were t4 15.4 T3 6.3 TSH 0.025 in February

In May I had to change from Cynomel as it was to difficult to get it from Mexico. I changed to Tiromel. My latest results are as follows :

TSH 0.044 (0.27-4.2)

FT4 17.3 (12-22)

FT3 3.7 (3.1-6.8)

Can someone shed any light on this please ? I imagine the low T3 could be because of the change of brand ? But why the higher T4 and lower TSH ?

Your ft4 is higher because taking t3 tends to reduce ft4 levels slightly. As your current t3 appears to be ineffective your ft4 has risen. Because your ft4 is higher your feedback loop has signalled to stimulate the thyroid less therefore tsh has dropped .

Tiromel is obviously a lot weaker than Cynomel. You have a bit of tweaking to do. By the way, your TSH is higher not lower on your latest results.

No, I have my T3 compounded with only one filler.
