I’ve been feeling pretty rough for a long time now , dr agreed to increase Levo to 125/100 on alternate days back in January - a march blood test showed tsh at 1.34 (0.34-5.6) Ive since increased to 125/day and this is my latest results (medichecks) which picked up low b12

I have a doctors appointment on Wednesday and wondered if they will act on these results or will they test again?

my b12 result in January from Nhs was 263ng/l with the range >160

Your GP is likely to want to run their own tests once you show them the Medicheck results.

Do you have symptoms of B12 deficiency? The reference range for B12 is very wide and cut off point too low. theb12society.com/signs-and...

If you do then you should discuss this with your doctor for further tests for Pernicious Anaemia. You may need to push for these tests.

Your folate is also too low at 10% of its range but you need to deal with the B12 before you start on any folate supplements.

I am assuming you aren't a vegan or vegetarian?

What was the ferritin result?

Your D3 is reasonable. Are you supplementing? Vitamin D should be around 100 - 150.

Free T4 (fT4) 18.7 pmol/L (12 - 22) 67.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 4.67 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 42.4%

You may find that once your B12 is more optimal that your TSH raises which would help you get an increase. I would expect your FT4 to be more at 80-90% of its range and FT3 higher.
