I had blood tests done by my GP and Endo in Dec /Jan this year results posted on my profile here. Neither GP or Endo has recommended increasing the dosage from 100 to 125 mcg -I have never felt better on Levo in all the time I have been taking it so I seriously considered trying pure T3 . I was advised from replies to my post that I should firstly consider increasing my dosage of Levo from 100 to 125 as dropping Levo altogether and living on T3 was too big a jump. Would someone please provide me with details of a supplier of 25 mcg of Levothyroxine (not Teva). by PM .
Thank you

I'm not seeing any recent blood results.
As thyroid patients we do need to become our own health advocates with GP’s and Endocrinologists. They get little training in how to make us feel well, instead relying on lab numbers on paper. Take some time to read up on your condition, learn and get your confidence up. This will stand you in good stead when discussing your condition and challenging things that medic say.
Its not really about what they would recommend. You need to get a bit pushy (nicely) with them or try a different doctor sometimes works.
Have you recently or could you ask your GP to test levels of ferritin, folate, B12 & D3? Private tests are available, see link for companies offering private blood tests & discount codes, some offer a blood draw service at an extra cost. thyroiduk.org/help-and-supp...
