Hello there,
If you take L-thyroxin Henning, can you let me know how/where you get it please?
I can get a private prescription for it, however how do I then get hold of it?
Which pharmacy stocks it and how quickly can you get it?
Many thanks!

I think Roseway - but possibly also some of the others listed on the Thyroid UK website:
I have a NHS prescription issued by my gp for Thybon liothyronine. He is able to do this on a "named patient " basis. I had lots of problems with fillers and varying strengths of UK brands. So my gp was able to issue a named patient prescription for me. My local Tesco pharmacy ( Lincoln ) agreed to order it in for me. It was quite a faff setting it up and another faff when the pharmacy was audited and ordered to discontinue getting it for me. But they were able to reinstate it with a second letter of request from my gp.
There have been a few supply issues so I have to make sure I have at least two months supply always in hand.
I did have to contact several local pharmacies before I found Tesco was willing to order it in for me, where as a lot of other pharmacies refused. My experience was that I had to go to the local pharmacies in person to make the request. When I tried telephoning, I was brushed off by a member of staff who simply said it can not be done!!
l too got it on a named person prescription and found that a local independent was able to order it for me. They added a little extra to the actual cost but didn’t have any problems. They sold the business and the new owner wanted to add £50 per pack of 28. Luckily for me l now get it on a NHS prescription . Good luck with getting your own at a reasonable cost. Yvonne
