My usual supplier is not letting me buy this. I seem to remember Helvella and someone else used it? Does anyone know what is happening?
PM me if appropriate.
Thank you.

Joeyis7, If it's [ an on-line source ] they now require a prescription.

Oh dear, and they usually give me an online 'prescription' after asking a few questions. What am I going to do? It's the only one free of both lactose and acacia. I do have a prescription from my GP which just says Levothyroxine Sodium. I might fax that to them and see what happens.
Thank you for the information, Clutter.

Joeyis7, The prescription should be fine. Some people have had difficulty finding where to use the scrip on the site so you might have to contact them for help. Alternatively, use the scrip to order from Thybon direct via thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/treatm...
If your GP wrote 'Lactose-free Levothyroxine' on the prescription your local pharmacy should be able to order it for you.
Thybon is Henning's Liothyronine!
Joeyis7,
Contact [ an on-line source ] directly and be prepared to photograph or scan your ordinary NHS prescription.

The supplier to my local pharmacy insists the prescription defines the brand. Interestingly though, my pharmacy is now having trouble getting the 25mg tabs. Hope there isn't a supply problem or a crackdown on the costs
Thank you, Clutter, Helvella and PennyR. My next question seems off-target but isn't ; are Euthyrox and Eutirox one and the same?
Joeyis7
That is very wise, thank you! Just have to try them out and compare leaflets and effects!
