Currently keeping an eye on bloods yearly, due to high antibodies (and feeling like crap 99% of the time)

Was wondering if anyone in the know could have a look at the past few results and determine if things are moving in the right or wrong way, or any tips and suggestions.

My initial blood work in 2020:

TSH 2.056 uIU/ml (0.350 - 4.940)

Free T4 13.8 pmol/L (9.0 - 19.0)

Anti TGAB 26.63 IU/ml (<4.11)

Anti TPO 11.08 IU/ml (<5.61)

2021:

TSH 1.023 uIU/ml (0.350 - 4.940)

Free T4 13.8 pmol/L (9.0 - 19.0)

Anti TGAB 31.76 IU/ml (<4.11)

Anti TPO 10.38 IU/ml (<5.61)

Early 2023:

TSH 1.503 uIU/ml (0.350 - 4.940)

Free T4 12.1 pmol/L (9.0 - 19.0)

Anti TGAB 27.58 IU/ml (<4.11)

Anti TPO 10.82 IU/ml (<5.61)

Thanks so much in advance, really appreciate the insight when I can't make heads or tails of this ❤️

What time of day were the tests taken? We recommend 9am for highest TSH.

Your TSH is still looking pretty good but your FT4 has dropped slightly. Can only really compare results of they were taken at same time of day fasting though.

Are you monitoring vitamin levels? Hypo people get low vitamin levels and working on these to get them to OPTIMAL (top quarter of range) can help how you feel.

As you have raised antibodies have you tried a gluten free diet to see if that helps how you feel?

Hi Jaydee, thanks so much for your response! ❤️

Latest bloods were fasted and around 10am. All previous would have been similar times and circumstances.

Have been supplementing a multivitamin with iron, a probiotic and a strong vitamin d3 since my first bloods in 2020 due to ferrin and vit d being within range, but quite low.

Most other blood results were good - I've brought my cholesterol down from 4.2 to 3.8 in the last year.

Results that were showing red though - My total protein was slightly high, my triglycerides were slightly high and my HDL was low.

I haven't been following any particular diet, I've just been a little more active and more conscious of my diet and have lost a little weight as a result. My doctor doesn't follow up with any info or tips, just tells me to keep an eye on antibodies yearly and leaves me to it.

Alarmingly, I have noticed a small hard lump of the right side of my lower throat in the last week or two which despite researching all the thyroid stuff, is not something I imagined I'd actually have to deal with, so I'm a bit stunned by that, ngl. I'm a bit frozen in fear of the thought of what this could be or what it means. 😰

I'm so conscious of being fobbed off as usual by my doctor

Multivitamins arent recommeded here due to their poor quality and low levels which arent enough to replace any deficiency. Better to test key vitamins and target levels individually. Ypou probably need to retest ferritin, folate, B12 & D3 to check where you are at now.

Low vitamin levels will keep your TSH lower so would be good to work on those.

A neck lump should be investigated perhaps with an ultrasound scan. That may also show any thyroid destruction or nodules.

Referred by GP for ultrasound and fine needle biopsy. 😰

That's a good thing, can show a lot and you will know whats happening then.

Many people with antibodies/Hashi's find a gluten free diet helpful. Worth trying.
