I've finally got a copy of some blood test results after 2 years. I had blood test because of waking up saturated on a night. Serum tsh level(xaELV) 7.5 mu/L above range
Serum free T4 level(XaERr) 10 pmol/L
Serum c reactive protein level(XaINL) 11mg/L above range
Platelet count 464 above range
Hematocrit(X76tb) 0.409 below range
Monocyte count 1.01 above range
Basophil 0.11 above range
Cholesterol now good but was very high
Doctor wants to see me about it but in 2 weeks .
If anyone can make sense of any of it would be appreciated. Thanks

I did mention it to the doctor (about vitamins) initially and he said we are doing a full blood test. I mentioned it the receptionist, she said wait till the 7th to see doctor.
Well they haven't done a 'full' blood test, but it's probably all you'll get on the NHS. A full thyroid function test includes TSH, FT4 and FT3, NHS almost never does FT3 which is what we need to know if we are converting properly. People in this group buy private tests to show that and get better treatment.
Sounds like you've been given a routine appointment and I would seriously hope they will put your dose up by 25mcgs. You need to push for that if they don't suggest it, night sweats are caused by under replacement.
Try and see a different GP who's less patronising and ask for the vitamin tests. You have an abnormal full blood count and it should be investigated further. If they refuse to test vitamins then you will need to test privately yourself.
can you add ranges please, needed to interpret accurately.
wouldn’t recent results help you more? or are you fact finding to understand original diagnosis.
Your previous posts show doctor advised you at time you have Hashimoto’s (there are no antibody results were these tested at another time)
I just trying to understand what you need advice on. These are results from 2 years ago - advice on what to do next based on results isn’t what you require.
These results are recent . I probably worded it wrong. I meant for two years I've been having tests but the surgery has been reluctant to print out results. They were quite accommodating this time . Will rewrite results
Yeah I agree. The doctor said when I went a week ago that I was probably over medicated which is obviously wrong. I don't understand why certain doctors are so reluctant to increase medication.
Reference ranges vary from lab to lab. Can you please add the ranges so that we can interpret your results properly. You've put "above range" and "below range" but for FT4 you've not given anything so presumably it's within range. However, where in range is it? Ranges we see here are
7-17
9-19
11-23
12-22
Plus others
So you can see that you could be below range, very low in range or 30% through range or something else.
Serum c reactive protein level(XaINL) 11mg/L above range
The range for this is generally <5 so as this is an inflammation marker (but non-specific) it's showing that you have some inflammation but can't say where/what it is.
If you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) this can cause inflammation.
Thanks slow dragon. My brand of levothyroxine is accord 50mcg and wockhardt 25mcg. Both seem to agree with me apart from being too low a dose. Will push doctor for vitamin test if not already done. When I asked if the tested for vitamin he said for everything but no results .
