Frivolous question; vitamin storage

Hello! So, this is a totally frivolous question but I wondered if anyone might point me towards some sort of storage 'thing' to keep my vitamins in.

They have to be kept on the kitchen counter, because I forget them if they're not in view, but they're so ugly!

I mostly dislike the different sized tab; they don't even line up nicely! 🤣

I did switch them to jam jars but they're massive.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful :D

Good morning to you :

I need to keep all my vitamins and minerals in their tubs as I forget which ones I take when and if outside of their branded containers would be a bit ' lost ' !!

You can buy pill dispenser organizers boxes - are you sleeping any better ?

I mark on my calender what I take and when so that solves that issue! Tried a pill dispenser but there are so many supplements that I couldn't find one big enough. 😂

I am sleeping better, thank you! It took 4 weeks but I've slept until 6:30 the last 2 nights so I'm hopeful the tide has turned. 🤞🏼

Hi Witchinghour,

If you want to keep them in their original containers you could get a small decorative basket with a lid, or a wooden box to store them all.

Or possibly a little tiny decorative storage suitcase like a child's one. They're about 10inches long. It really depends what you want sitting on your worktop and how much space you have.

'The Works' often have lots of craft/storage ideas. Plain wooden boxes that you could decorate yourself if you're inclined.

Or 'Etsy' have a look on there you might find something quirky that appeals to you.

Best wishes.

Hi Hedgeree, Thanks for the ideas! :D

I need them just visible enough that it reminds me so a box to put them in is a good shout.

Mine are kept in their original bottles in a Lock + Lock box without the lid. I wouldn;t decant them into other jars as they wouldn't be sterile. I'm not bothered whether they look "ugly" or not, it's never crossed my mind, who's to see it and be bothered about it, nobody has ever asked me about them or passed comment. I live in my home not a show home.

Jars that have been sterilised are just as sterile as the pots the vitamins come in.

And I personally, I don't like the look of the various vitamin pots.

Just because I want my house to look nice, as I see fit, isn't wanting to live in a "show home". Even if I did want to live in a show home, why is that a bad thing?

I was just asking if any other members had found a way to store their vitamins.

I just happen to think there are more important things to worry about. Each to their own :)

Of course there are but that's why I said it was a frivolous question in the title! 🤷‍♀️
