Have a laugh! It's a tonic!

So yesterday I had to wait in for the delivery of hedging plants. Decided to be like my mum and give the house a really thorough clean for the approaching festive season. I brushed up high for cobwebs; I used the special attachment to hoover along the edges of the carpets; I washed the ornaments and I took a toothbrush and scrubbed in the corners of the shower and round the bottoms of the taps. Things are really sparkling.

But all this is to tell you that at 10pm last night I found myself cleaning my teeth with a scrappy, bristly toothbrush. Now how my toothbrush and the cleaning toothbrush got mixed up I don't know! BUT THEY DID!!!! My teeth are also sparkling. Sometimes I am beyond help.

Take heart folks that are feeling low. 3 years ago I was all but bed bound but thanks to the information and guidance given on here I was able to push for better treatment. While there is still some recovery to go, I can do things and get out and about. There is hope!

Thank you for the inspiration, hope and giggle! I'm almost a year from diagnosis and still struggling but determined to get back to being me one day!

Thank you Lalatoot 🤪😂

I can also clean my house better and more frequently than I could 2 years ago however, what hasn't changed is my feeling that I could be doing something far more interesting 🤔😃

Thank you everyone for your time, knowledge and kind words❤️

Hurrah ....good isn't it.. it's almost like being a real person again ... iv'e done some dusting and cleaning in corners this year too .

However ' getting round to actually hanging shelves and mirrors on the wall' (instead of leaning against it ) is still a work in progress... maybe next year.

When we begin to feel that we are again able to do chores that we coped with easily before we were diagnosed with hypothyroidism it is an uplifting feeling. You are obviously on the correct dose, it would seem to me.
