Been out of action for a while, going through chemotherapy for secondary breast cancer. I recently checked my stash of T3 only to find that I was running very low. Checked the suppliers I know of only to find they were all out of stock! In despair I went round to my local pharmacy to ask the price of 100 T3 and was told £957. In Europe 100 tablets can be obtained for round about £25. I just don't understand what is going on with pricing. £957 is just ludicrous! Trouble is I am too ill to travel anywhere at the moment. Any advice anybody can give me would be really appreciated.

Are they having a laugh or what.
I would have expected them to say that they only supply this product on a prescription.
"They" do far worse than simply have a laugh regarding NDT.
"They" follow the words of Hitler in Mein Kampf where he states that if you repeat a lie forcefully many times it will become the truth and you will then even start to believe it yourself.
Yes, it was Hitler who said this, not his propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels as commonly stated.
A private prescription enables access to cheap T3 from Germany

Price of UK T3 has dropped slightly, down from £258 per 28 tablets, to £204
Obviously that's still ludicrous compared to 31 Euro for 100 tablets from Germany
The price in the US is nowhere that ridiculous but it is inching up a little higher each month. Sneaky.
Last month I was able to get a 3 month script at once but who knows about next month.
Its profiteering but the Authorities are as slow to act.
In the US the more profits drug companies make (also true for other companies) the bigger checks their stockholders get!
This was so shocking to read. I had no idea. Is it not possible to get a list of prices from other countries and shove it under the nose of some MPs or even just send many copies to the prime minister? Gosh I had no idea. I wish there was something I could do, it is frustrating to be so helpless.
