I’ve just received my blood results and I’m looking for some knowledge wisdom once again😁
I’m currently taking 100mcg of levothyroxine and 10mcg of liothyronine.I’m aware the range is off so I was thinking of dropping to 75mcg of levo and 15mcg of lio but I’m always grateful to receive such great advice.
I’m thinking I need to stop the b complex🤦♀️I was thinking of adding in some iron to get my levels above 100 as I really think that’s my problem. The doctor is also testing me for h/pylori as I’ve had that before.
Any advice will be,as always, very welcome.

I forgot to add test was taken at 6am with last dose of levo at 6am the day before last dose of lio then too,I was put on capsules so couldn’t split it,no meds were taken until after the test,I didn’t stop the b complex until the Friday though as I forgot😣
If you took your last dose of T3 24 hours before the blood draw, you have a false low FT3, there, so it wouldn't be wise to make any changes based on those results.
You may not be able to split the dose, but you could take the whole thing 12 hours before the blood draw, that would give you a more accurate result.
I wouldn't stop the B complex completely, if I were you, because levels could easily drop again. Perhaps just take one every other day.
I did ask on here and was advised to just take it in the morning🤦♀️I might just start taking the b complex three times a week and see what happens.Thank you.
Oh, really? I can't imagine who said that, because it's not very helpful. How do you know if you need to increase your dose if you have a false-low result? Oh well...
Just read the post in question. I can see the reasoning behind that reply, but I'm not convinced. It's not what I would have said. Far too hit and miss.
I wish you had seen the post🤦♀️So I should just leave it as it is do you think?I had bloods done for the endo the day after I did this test so no doubt I’ll be hearing from him,or the gp will.
I think you should take the other advice you were given and ask your endo to specify on the prescription that you should be given 20 mcg tablets of T3, so that you can split them and take 15 mcg. That way you can split your dose and take the last dose 8 to 12 hours before the blood draw.
I was at the doctor yesterday and he’s prescribed me the 20mcg tablets🙌He did say not to be surprised if someone flags it so I’m gonna call the pharmacy team on Thursday, apparently if you call during triage they have two appointments available for that day.
