Hi,
Is there a poll for the autumn covid booster side effects? Or anywhere you want us to log symptoms again?
Hi,
Is there a poll for the autumn covid booster side effects? Or anywhere you want us to log symptoms again?

No, there are no plans for a poll for the autumn booster.
Delighted to share that I’ve had no side effects at all to either Moderna covid booster or flu vaccine this time round. Had them separately 10 days apart. Not even a sore arm.
Had the moderna booster at work the other week, had a bit of a sore arm, that was about it this time. Felt queasy for a couple of minutes and a bit tired but always tired.
No problems with double whammy of flu jab and covid booster two weeks ago.
wow, I had the worst after effects of the Moderna booster, went on for days, headache, nausea, fatigue. How different we all are?
Indeed my arm was most painful of all of them, couldn't lift it above chest height although overall I found this one much better than the others, it still made me overmedicated (levothyroxine) but took a bit longer to kick in this time (maybe a week).
Flu like body aches were pretty bad to the point I was regretting having it as forgot how much it would hurt, but after 3 days was over most of it bar some fatigue. Plus I didn't get the pleasant feeling loads better for a day or so side effect that I did with the others which was a shame.
Yet some get pretty much no side effects.
I had the moderna BV one and first time I had a moderna one so hoping next time maybe it'll not be so bad
Much nicer than when I had covid tho
Sore arm but otherwise fine 🙂
I declined the double covid and flu. So far, my covid booster's booked for next weekend. Not looking forward to it as I was really ill after the Pfizer booster last year (AZ's were fine) I'll report back in a week!
I had the Moderna booster three days ago. My arm started aching within ten minutes of the jab going in. Woke up the next morning to a large red swollen patch on my arm that aches and is itchy as well. Still quite bad this morning and have shooting pains from the jab site too. Booked in for my flu injection later and will tell the Doctor what is going on. Suspect I won't be having any injection done today!
I am a bit worried about getting the new vaccine, as when I had the first two (Astra Zenica) a year and a half ago, it left me with tinnitus, which has never gone away. Seems like a lot of people are still suffering with this too, probably permanent now.
I had the booster (Pfizer) last Dec which was o.k.
I'm not bothered about getting other side effects like flu and aching arm.
I suppose I'll have to bite the bullet and get it done, but won't have the flu one at the same time.
We have created a dedicated post for members to post about their experience of getting the Covid and/or Flu vaccines this autumn.
