I am currently on holiday in Portugal and wondering if any members have had experience of trying to buy T 3 over here? I think you have to pm me. I am currently fighting my case with Devon who will only allow my GP to prescribe 10 mcg daily and not the 20 which the endo has assessed I need. However the complaints system is blocked as too many patients are using it so it may be some time before I can stop trying to source my T3 for myself. Any ideas welcome.

According to this fairly recent post T3 is only available with prescription in Portugal, not available to buy OTC:
You could go into a pharmacist and enquire - If you already have some T3 prescribed, take the packet to the pharmacist and he/she may be helpful.
I couldn't find any liothyronine available in Portugal when I was looking for my medicines document.
These are a couple of sites which might help:

If you find any, let me know the details and I'll include them in my document!
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines
I have created, and try to maintain, a document containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world. It is sectioned by UK - rest of the world, and by T4, T3, desiccated thyroid, etc.

Success! I have just acquired 3 boxes of Liothyronine 25mcg with 60 tablets in each box from pharmacy in Lagos, Portugal. Total cost 11.58 euros. They are made by Merck and called Eutirox. I showed my half used pack from Greece and was not asked for a prescription! That is 6 months for 2 euros a month!
Not sure they have given you what you wanted, I'm sorry to say.
Eutirox is levothyroxine - not liothyronine.
Bother! But I suppose I can always use it up! The pharmacist looked at the tablets, asked if it was for thyroid, and gave me these and I did not have my glasses! If the deal is too good, ….
