I live in UK and up till now I have been blessed with my regular supply of Mercury Phama/ Accord T3.
My life is great and I am able to do all I want and need to do. I contribute to taxes, spend my money, have no other health care issues, pay my NI and have done for 43 years.
Now UK say no more and have given me Morningside brand and I am back in hell. Instead of 9/10 feeling each day I'm at 3/10 and feel so poisoned that death will be preferable.
I'm also giving up on UK as a place to live!
WIthout naming brands can you actually get T3 in any form in Spain, Greece or Portugal?
10 years ago I lived in Spain and it was not available at all, has it changed?
Thanks, please dont overstep the rules. If you wish to privately message me it would be helpful in making my decision.

So you can't get Mercury Pharma levo? How many pharmacies have you tried? If this is prescribed by your GP, they can add a request to your prescription for this brand, then the pharmacy have to source it. You should speak to your GP.
Have you tried getting in touch with Springfield pharmacy? They specialise in supplying thyroid medication. I'm the opposite to you, I can only take Morningside as Mercury pharma is poison to me. No local chemist can supply in the quantity I need but Springfield can. They post the meds to youSpringfield pharmacy, Richmond. Give them a ring or email them
Springfield is on the list of Thyroid uk website as a specialist of thyroid meds but Google with give you details. I would be in a mess without themYes, sad that will will just be thrown
T3 is not normally available in Spain or Portugal.
More recently T3 has not usually been available in Greece either.

hi , I just wanted to say as dahliasanddaisies mentioned , it’s worth trying other pharmacies x
I have mercury pharma T4 and T3 and so far my boots pharmacy has been able to get it for me every time. I’m lucky that they know me and are happy to help me , if a mixup up happens when I pick it up they swap it out and source it for me . I guess I just wanted to say don’t give up hope just yet and try some other pharmacies , there are some great people out there that will try and help and Mercury Pharma is still getable x
I think thought it’s now produced by Advanz Pharma…if it’s not precisely that it’s something similar and one of the very clever people who advise on here will know, maybe your pharmacy don’t know and they can source it from there now?
I hope you get what you need, it’s hard feeling like you have to fight for your health all the time xx
Mercury Pharma thyroid hormone tablets are still produced in the UK by a third party manufacturer as has been the case for many years. But the name Advanz Pharma appears in some documentation.
And Advanz Pharma are themselves owned by another company.
Thanks. I have changed pharmacies 3 times in last 4 presciptions. I'm getting tired of fighting and trawling each and every time. Each rejection takes its toll and is taking me longer to get over as everything spirals down. Bopdy temp, pulse, oxygenation, hormones!

I just want to be absolutely sure before I update my UK medicines document - which currently shows the product but says it has not yet been distributed.
I’m on mercurypharma Levo, when chemist said they couldn’t get it, I asked for Advanz pharma , said it wasn’t available, I actually emailed Advanz pharma who replied there was no shortage and gave me the name of their 3 distributors, took it to chemist and so far so good. I get mercury pharma or eltroxin which is the same
No idea about T3 but you could always try emailing them if no success with chemist.
