Anyone have any details about a new NDT being offered to some as a free trial ? It’s been mentioned on another site.

I deduced they are 1 grain and I suspect made by the Thyroid S supplier Sriprasit in Thailand.

No they are " out of India " and Eastern Pharmaceuticals who tried to launch Real Thyroid a couple of years ago ;

I did ask. They will not give any details apart from the fact they are blue capsules and some people have received free samples to try. People have been asking for more info but they will not add any other details.

Hi meme, yes, I've heard of this and the people not being willing to name the NDT, but I think it's called VitaliThy.

Back in early 2020 one of the suppliers of Thyroid-S mentioned that he was developing a new NDT in Vietnam, which was going to be similar to either Thyroid-S or Thiroyd. Then a couple of days ago I read a post from someone on another group asking about Vitalithy NDT, which no-one there had heard of. A search brings up the website of a pharmaceutical company founded in 2019 in Vietnam and a photo of bottles of blue capsules described as "...over-the-counter Natural Desiccated Thyroid supplement...". Each box of 250 capsules costs £134.65 (I recently paid £232.55 for 1500 tablets of Thyroid-S!) but I can't see how strong they are.

The supplier was a pharmacist, but even so I'll leave it to the others to trial it I think!

I tried Tru thyroid a year or so ago. That too was made by/for a supplier. It did not work for me and my TSH shot up to 8 ! I still have a pot left. I am now trying Thyroid S.

I believe VitaliThy is being manufactured by the same small company that made Real Thyroid (have not heard any positive reports about the latter!). According to the website of the manufacturer of VitaliThy blue pills they contain:

VitaliThy 60mg(USP): 1 grain or 1 capsule

T4 - 38mcg

T3 - 9mcg

30mg - Spica Prunellae Extract

10mg - Ashwagandha Extract

6mcg - Selenium Yeast

Yes I noticed True Thyroid mentioned there and also haven't heard good reports of it. I couldn't find the ingredients of the new NDT anywhere, thank you for finding them!

Edited to add, I wonder what the blue colour comes from.

The product loses trust immediately by not declaring ingredients - to the extent of being misleading.

The capsules are intense blue (from photographs). Yet they claim:

Free from artificial colors or flavors

I do not believe it is possible to make such capsules without artificial colors.

Can't think of any good reason for the capsules to be so intensely blue, other than to make them look really attractive in photos. If they were indigo coloured, then they could probably claim 'natural' colouring.

They should at least identify the dye used! Especially as there are considerable differences between UK/EU and USA, for example, as to what is allowed.

Most indigo dye produced today is synthetic, constituting several thousand tons each year.

Also says indigo is low toxicity (rather than generally recognised as safe, or whatever) with a median lethal dose of 5 grams per kilogram! I think you'd be a Smurf many times over if you consumed even a fraction of that.

I think the blue colouring could be 'Brilliant Blue FCF'

Still, it should be listed as one of the capsule's constituents.

I asked the manufacturer on Sunday what dye the used in the blue capsules. They said they would ask the manufacturing dept and get back to me.

I have sent 2 reminders to them this week but so far no answer to my question. It’s now Saturday.
