Novotiral order and damn bitcoins, argh

hi all,

I’ve been successfully treating with novotiral . Only problem is that I came to reorder today and they no longer take PayPal or credit card and you have to pay with bloody bitcoins. Despite many Google searches I don’t feel confident about this. Can anyone talk me through the Bitcoin process? Or have suggestions for other places to buy novotiral or similar (T3/T4 synthetic mix)?

Hi Predatormom

I haven’t used crypto to buy my medication but there was a post from someone that had a while ago so I’m assuming it happens. Do you have some to use? There is a calculator app that works out how much various currencies are in ‘real’ money. Coinvero. It’s useful.

I buy online and have always used PayPal. I wouldn’t be concerned if you have used the chemist before.

Never had problems with the pharmacy so not worried about that per se but I’ve never used bitcoins in my life so have no idea really in terms of getting some from an exchange and then getting them into a wallet. It all seems a bit complicated 🙈this is how my parents must feel about the internet haha

Be very careful.

Bitcoin value can change almost instantly. And I am quite sure there are plenty of scammers and other ne'er-do-wells to avoid.

Having said that, many people have used Bitcoin perfectly satisfactorily.

I’m with you. Yes you do need a wallet. But you could check out the Coinbase app. In my experience this is fairly simple to use compared to some.

You have to id yourself all done on your device. Take a picture of your passport using your device camera but it is fairly straight forward.

You then simply pay money in. You can use your visa or bank account. Once you have money in there you buy some Bitcoin (for this purpose).

You are then able to ‘send’ money to their address. This will be a series of letters and numbers that you should copy and paste into the send address area. I’m sure you have seen this on the YouTubes that you’ve watched.

I think the key is not to try and understand it. Lol. Double check your addresses and you will be fine. The first time is always going to feel stressful as using any new thing is. Watch the YouTube and follow their tips. It is less complicated than you think but the cyberspace element makes it daunting.

Use the Coinvero app (there maybe others but I use this one) to see exactly what you’re paying and remember you will have fees that will add to the cost.

Lastly, every transaction is written into the blockchain so in theory it should be a great way to pay.

Good luck (sure you won’t need it).

Edit: crypto is volatile as Helvella mentioned. It’s like the stock market on steroids but you will get fluctuations all the time. So it depends on how much you’re spending as to how much you want to watch and wait to buy.

It wasn’t really! But if you combine Coinbase with YouTube you will fathom it out. Before you know it you’ll be investing in crypto pools!! 🤣🤣. You’ll be a step a head if they truly are tomorrows currencies. 🤷‍♀️

Hi JohnHood I am sure this post is full of how volatile Bitcoin is so you won’t get any argument there.
