Hi,
Wondered if anyone would please let me know what they think about the latest results & any advice ahead of my phone appt with an Endo tomorrow (first appt after being referred by my GP).
TSH 0.42miu/L (0.3 - 5.5)
Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies 278iu/ml (0 - 34)
Vitamin D 69nmol/L (50 - 144)
Serum Vitamin B12 524ng/L (197 - 771)
Serum Ferritin 244ug/L (15 - 150)
Bloods done at 8am, last levo (125mcg) taken 24 hours before.
I take Thorne Basic B but stopped this a week before the test. Also use the Better You Vitamin D & K2 spray (had been using 2 squirts a day = 2000iu, now upped this to 3 squirts = 3000iu since getting this result).
I did take Nature Provides B12 liquid for a couple of months but was waiting for these results before deciding whether to continue with it.
Ferritin is always on the high side but this result is lower than previous ones, GP is not concerned.
GP referred me to Endo as I told him I'd had private bloods done which showed Hashi's and I asked for the coeliac test.
Not entirely sure what the Endo is likely to do, especially as the latest tests didn't include T3 or T4 (GP asked for them but labs never do them).
I feel better since I requested an increase from levo 100mcg to 125mcg, not great but definitely an improvement in energy levels & fatigue!
I was planning to repeat the Medichecks thyroid panel at some point, especially if the Endo is not willing to do anything.
Any thoughts would be very welcome, thank you lots!
